How To Hang Your Metal Art

HOW TO HANG YOUR METAL ART

All our signs come with pre-made holes for easier mounting. They are light-weight and can be mounted in a variety of ways depending on the mounting surface. The following are our recommended methods for the most common surfaces:

Wood

Nails or screws are good options for wood. Alternatively, mounting magnets are a great option that allow you to change your sign whenever you want. These simply screw into a wall and your sign attaches magnetically. They are very secure and work well for interior or exterior mounting.

Vinyl Siding

In order to avoid drilling into your siding (and also to be able to change your sign easily), we highly recommend clip hangers for vinyl siding. These are simple hangers that attach under your siding and do not damage the siding at all. Use double-sided tape for added security.

Drywall

There are several options for mounting on drywall:

Nails: Small panel nails/finishing nails can be used + double-sided tape for added security.

Mounting Magnets (mentioned above)

3M Claws/ Monkey Hooks: These are products that allow you to mount your sign without needing any tools. You simply push them into the drywall and hang your sign on the clip or hook.

Screws and Anchors: For this method we suggest using a stud finder to find a wooden stud and screw directly into it. Or if you want to hang your sign in a place that does not have a stud, use drywall anchors. Choose the location for your sign, pre-drill a hole, hammer in the anchor and then use a screw to mount the sign securely.

Brick/ Stone

Mounting on brick or stone requires some special tools like a masonry drill and  masonry drill bits + screws and plastic anchors. Mark the place where you want to mount your sign and use a drill with a masonry bit to drill your pilot holes. Insert the anchors into the pilot holes, line up the holes in the sign with the holes in the brick and attach the sign using screws.
